Quality assurance of projects entails four key components: monitoring deliverables (deliverables QA), functional QA, monitoring value creation (value creation QA), and keeping an eye on your budget (budget QA).
Monitoring deliverables is often guided by the vendor contract and stipulated in the project plan which should clearly define the various deliverables the project should produce. Functional QA assurance is more complex as you, as the future user of the solution, have certain expectations what the solution should deliver and perceptions how this should be presented to the user in graphical interfaces. Prior to commencing the project we conduct workshops to define these functional requirements and monitor them throughout the project. We work constructively with your software vendor to ensure they are aware of the functional expectations and assist in translating these into technical requirements.
When we invest into technology, we expect a certain return or value creation. This aspect is often moved to the backbench in the implementation phase when customer and vendor focus on getting the solution implemented. We establish clear value creation parameters with you prior to project commencement and trace these throughout the project and after implementation. This allows your project to compare pre and post implementation and establish a clear ROI.
Finally, we can assist in monitoring project budgets (budget QA). Whilst this is a classic project management function is constitutes a key element of project delivery and is directly linked to value creation of the project. It links the other three QA components as deliverables and functional requirements must be clearly defined for AI projects to create value.
